The things that come up most often.

The extension is installed but nothing is changing.

Safari extensions have to be granted access per site. Go to Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions → DoomOff, switch it on, then set each of the seven sites to "Allow". Reload the page afterwards: changes apply on the next page load, not to a page that's already open.

Tapping the app icon still opens the native app.

That's expected until you set up the redirect Shortcut. The app walks you through it under "Redirect the apps", which creates a personal automation that hands off to the cleaned-up web version when the native app opens.

A toggle stopped working after a site update.

These sites change their page structure regularly, which occasionally breaks a rule until DoomOff is updated to match. Email us with the site and the toggle and it goes to the front of the queue.

How do I get into a blocked app in an emergency?

Break glass unlocks every site for fifteen minutes. It's on the home screen of the app, and it's available once a day.

Why does LinkedIn's "sort by recent" only show instructions?

LinkedIn's chronological sort is an account-level setting stored on their servers, not something a browser extension can change. Turning that toggle on shows you the exact path to set it yourself. Once set, it stays set.

How do I cancel?

Settings → your name → Subscriptions → DoomOff → Cancel. The current period runs to its end. Refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Does DoomOff work on iPad or Mac?

Not yet. It's iPhone-only today.

Still stuck?

Email and a real person will answer.
