DoomOff
Quiet the feed.
Keep the people.
The apps aren't the problem. The engineered-addictive parts are. DoomOff strips Shorts, Reels, the For You page and the rest out of Safari, then puts every feed back in the order things actually happened.

See exactly what disappears
These are the same live previews the app shows you on every site card. Pick a site, flip a toggle, and watch the screen settle.
YouTube
Shorts gone, home opens Subscriptions, no autoplay rabbit hole.
In the app, changes apply the next time the page loads in Safari.

19:42Three steps, then you forget it exists
No willpower required, no lock screen guilt-trips. Set it once and the feeds are just quieter from then on.
Turn on the Safari extension
DoomOff installs as a Safari Web Extension. Flip it on once in Settings and every site below starts behaving. Takes about a minute.
Redirect the apps
A guided iOS Shortcut sends YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Reddit, X, and LinkedIn to their cleaned-up web versions instead of the native app.
Choose what stays
Per site, decide what disappears and what doesn't. Hide Shorts but keep subscriptions. Keep stories but lose the algorithm. It's your call, not ours.
Calm, on your terms
Nothing is collected
No account, no analytics, no server. Your settings live on your phone and never leave it. The privacy label says "no data collected" because there is none.
Not an all-or-nothing blocker
Most tools make you quit entirely, so you uninstall them by Thursday. DoomOff removes the engineered-addictive parts and leaves the reasons you actually opened the app.
Break glass, once a day
Need a 2FA code out of a blocked app? Unlock everything for fifteen minutes. Once a day, on purpose: enough for emergencies, not enough to become the habit.
Chronological, by default
Every feed that still has a "Following" mode gets defaulted to it. Posts in the order they happened, from people you chose.
Daily time limits
Give any site a budget. Once you've spent it, the page goes quiet for the rest of the day.
One price, no upsell
No tiers, no streak-shaming, no notifications begging you to come back. It's a utility, and it charges like one.
Put the doom down
One week free, then a single subscription. Cancel from Settings whenever. The feeds go back to being loud, and we won't email you about it.
