Privacy Policy
Last updated August 30, 2026
This policy covers the DoomOff iOS app and Safari extension, operated by Decy Technologies Inc. ("Decy," "we," "us").
DoomOff collects no data. There is no account, no analytics, no tracking, and no server that receives anything from your device.
What we collect
Nothing. DoomOff has no backend. The app never transmits your settings, your browsing, or any identifier anywhere, because there is nowhere for it to transmit them to.
What stays on your device
DoomOff stores your per-site preferences (which toggles you've enabled, any daily time limits you've set) in a private App Group container shared between the app and its Safari extension. This data:
- Never leaves your device.
- Is not readable by other apps.
- Is deleted when you delete DoomOff.
What the Safari extension can see
To hide Shorts, Reels, and the rest, the extension has to run on the pages where those things appear. It requests access to youtube.com, instagram.com, tiktok.com, facebook.com, reddit.com, x.com, and linkedin.com only.
On those sites it reads the page structure in order to hide elements and, where you have asked for it, redirect to a chronological view. It does not read your posts, messages, credentials, or account details, and it does not record, store, or transmit anything about what you viewed. It runs entirely locally, and it has no network access of its own.
On every other website, the extension does nothing at all, because it is never granted access to them.
Purchases
The subscription is processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see your payment details. Apple provides the app with a receipt confirming whether a valid subscription exists. That check happens on your device, and the result is not reported anywhere.
Apple's own handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Children
DoomOff is not directed at children under 13. Since the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children either.
Your rights (GDPR, UK, and similar laws)
If you're in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with a data protection law, you normally have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to its processing. DoomOff doesn't hold any personal data about you, so there is nothing on file to access, correct, or delete. If that ever changes, this section will be updated to explain how to exercise those rights, and you can always reach us at the address below with any question.
California privacy rights (CCPA)
California residents have rights to know what personal information is collected, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale. DoomOff does not collect, sell, or share personal information, so there is nothing to disclose, delete, or opt out of.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Any change that would involve collecting data, which is not planned, would require a new app version and your explicit consent.
